Come to the official launch of the new ASRC!
We are officially launching the new ASRC building at 12 Batman Street, West Melbourne on Sunday the 24th of June. We are holding a Global Fair, one massive street party with food and clothing stores and activities for kids. Its on from 10am to 4pm, a great day to come with friends or family.

Sleepout to end poverty for asylum seekers a success!

ASRC has new home!
The ASRC on the 4th of June 2007 moved into new premises at 12 Batman Street, West Melbourne, just 100 metres from our previous centre. We are next door to St. James Old Cathedral.

ASRC turns 6!
The ASRC turned 6 on Friday the 8th of June. It humbles me to see what an extraordinary place that it has become and also saddens me that we are still needed 6 years later. We had a lovely huge party for asylum seekers and volunteers to celebrate the occasion.
