The #RightTrack campaign

#RightTrack is a grassroots, community-led campaign to achieve sustained attitude change about the rights of people seeking asylum. It’s about having strategic, values-based conversations with family, friends and people of influence in our communities. #RightTrack aims to build a national conversation, one conversation at a time.

Getting on the #RightTrack means creating a process that fairly assesses people’s case for asylum; allows people to live in peace and dignity in our community rather than in detention; and offers permanent protection to refugees and their families.

The #RightTrack story

Last year the ASRC developed a values-based conversation framework integrating the findings of our ground breaking Words That Work messaging research led by communications expert, Anat Shenker- Orsorio . We then got the ball rolling trailing a series of #RightTrack Community Action Workshops across metro and regional communities with our partners and supporters to get valuable feedback about the framework, tools and strategies for having values-based conversations. We’re now scaling up in 2017 and we want you to join us to hear all about it!
